Janata Raja, Marathi mega-play based on the life of Shivaji Maharaj and written by Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare, opened to a large audience of different cities of India like Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Ahamadnagar, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Sangamner, Solapur & in many different parts of World.

The play, acclaimed for its recreation of 17th century scenes, especially Shivaji Maharaj's coronation, is being enacted and also a massive replica of the Shaniwarwada, the seat of the Maratha empire in Pune, has been erected in the show.
